CHRISTMAS WISHES
Dear colleagues
Another successful year of the Swiss Nanoscience Institute and of our NCCR Nanoscale Science comes to an end. The year 2008 was devoted to strong progress in our collaboration with industry through the Argovia and the i-net program. We would like to remember the wonderful Uninacht party as well as our Davos meeting and some other smaller activities.
However, the most important confirmation of our scienctific progress was the highly positive feedback of the review panel, declaring the SNI to be one of the world leading research institutions in nanoscience around the globe. The great success is only possible due to your brilliant research activities and we would like to thank you for your work and wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year.
We are also delighted to announce that two new colleagues will join as official Argovia Professors in January 2009. Dr. Martino Poggio has been elected Professor in Nanotechnology and Dr. Roderik Lim Professor in Nanobiology. We welcome our new colleagues.
